Spell for Prosperity and Good Luck
Ganesh, the Hindu elephant-headed god, is celebrated on this day.
Ganesh dispels ignorance and removes obstacles that keep us from our success.
On your altar, set an image of Ganesh, an offering of flowers, incense,
coins, a green candle anointed with patchouli, a cauldron, and a sheet of
new parchment. Write on the parchment: “What blocks my success melts away.
What blocks my prosperity melts away. What blocks my happiness melts away.”
Continue to write this prayer, being mindful of the words until you run out
of space. When you are finished, say: “Lord Ganesh, remove what blocks me
from my success. Lord Ganesh, bless me.” Burn the prayer sheet and incense,
bury the coin, and enjoy the flowers. Ganesh will bring you luck.
