~ Fairy Leather Blank Book ~
Our Price: 35.00 + $3.00 additional s/h BUY NOW
Beautifully bound within red, hand-stitched leather, this delightful journal has been carefully embossed and dyed to portray a scene out of Celtic legend. On the front face you will find the image of a beautiful fairy, lithe and robed in gossamer with the wings of a butterfly, all framed within an elaborate border of Celtic Knotwork. This Knotwork extends then down the binding, and expands to embrace the picture on the back which shows a dragonfly, hovering among flowers. Within this leather casing, will find approximately 300 blank pages that are completely chemical and acid free, and indeed are not even made of tree-pulp! Each page is made from cotton scraps found at the floor of garment factories and recycled biomass, such as fruit and vegetable husks. Not only is this environmentally sound, but it lends to the book a quality that leaves you yearning to write every time you glance it. Together it all forms the wonderful accent to a journal, diary, or book of shadows for anybody with spring in their hearts and the playful soul of a Fairy.

Complete Guide to Faeries and Magical Beings by Eason, Cassa
Price: $18.95 BUY NOW
A Complete Guide to Faeries and Magical Beings is a wonderful companion for those who wish to tour an enchanted world. Cassandra Eason begins with the myths, legends, and real evidence surrounding the origins and existence of fairies and then takes us on a journey throughout the world to introduce us to the many different varieties of these mysterious beings. From fairies to viking giants, selkies to gnomes, fey beings abound. In this spritely volume, Eason shares fascinating anecdotes of people who have actually seen them. And if you’d like to meet them yourself, Eason also provides simple techniques, exercises, and rituals to attract, find, and communicate with the little people. Hang silver bells by a window. Keep potted plants in your home. Or sit quietly between two oaks at dusk or dawn. Fairyland mirrors universal human issues: fortune versus misfortune, fate versus free will, perfection and imperfection, illusion and objective reality, different time scales, the existence of parallel dimensions, and the duality of human nature. Some people even believe that fairies are becoming more visible again, as they were in pre-industrial days, to remind us of the consequences of consumer society — the danger of being seduced by our own versions of fairy gold. Paperback 219 pgs.

~ Moon Rise Facts ~
The New Moon always rises at sunrise and the First Quarter at noon.
The Full Moon always rises at sunset and the Last Quarter at midnight.
Moonrise takes place about 50 minutes later each day than the day before.
The new moon can not be seen because her illuminated side faces away from
the earth.
This occurs when the Moon lines up between the Earth and the Sun.
